Our Academy delivers the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in a warm, closely supervised environment — the foundation every St. Jeremy learner builds on.
The Academy supports Early Years Education under the CBC, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, socialisation and practical learning in classrooms sized and staffed for close attention to each learner.
Because the Academy shares a campus with our Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary programme, transitions between stages are smooth and familiar — learners already know the grounds, the staff, and the standards.
St. Jeremy follows the national Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), organised into three major phases that guide learners from foundational skills to secondary specialisation.
Pre-Primary & Lower Primary — Pre-Primary 1–2 and Grades 1–3. The focus is on basic literacy, numeracy and socialisation through play-based learning and practical activities.
Upper Primary & Junior School — Grades 4–6 (Upper Primary) and Grades 7–9 (Junior School). At the end of Grade 6, learners take the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), while Junior School provides a broad foundation and space to explore emerging interests.
Grades 10–12 — This phase builds on Junior School with subject specialisation, career guidance and preparation for national examinations, further education and vocational pathways.
Ground-floor classrooms open onto covered walkways, keeping young learners safe, dry and easy to supervise.
The Academy has its own clearly marked entrance, so drop-off and pick-up stays simple and secure for parents.
Learners get early exposure to practical, real-world lessons through the school's shamba, right outside the classroom door.
